Dubai is a city that offers something for everyone. Whether you love iconic architecture, relaxing beaches, exciting adventures, or cultural experiences, every corner of the city has its own charm. During my trip, I visited several famous attractions that made my journey unforgettable.
If you’re planning your first trip to Dubai, here are the places I personally recommend adding to your itinerary.
1. Burj Khalifa
No trip to Dubai is complete without visiting the world’s tallest building. Seeing the Burj Khalifa in person was an incredible experience. Standing beneath this architectural masterpiece makes you appreciate the scale and beauty of modern engineering.
The observation deck offers stunning panoramic views of Dubai, especially during sunset.

2. Dubai Mall
Located next to Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall is much more than a shopping destination. Besides hundreds of stores, it offers entertainment, restaurants, cafés, and attractions for visitors of all ages.
Even if shopping isn’t your priority, walking through the mall is an experience in itself.

3. Dubai Fountain
One of my favourite moments was watching the Dubai Fountain Show. The combination of music, lights, and water dancing against the backdrop of Burj Khalifa creates a magical atmosphere.
The evening shows are especially beautiful and completely free to watch.

4. Dubai Marina
Dubai Marina quickly became one of my favourite places. The waterfront promenade is lined with impressive skyscrapers, restaurants, cafés, and luxury yachts.
Walking here in the evening felt peaceful, with cool breezes and stunning city lights reflecting on the water.

5. Palm Jumeirah
Palm Jumeirah is one of Dubai’s most famous landmarks. The palm-shaped island is home to luxury hotels, beautiful beaches, and breathtaking coastal views.
Even driving around Palm Jumeirah is an experience worth enjoying.

6. Global Village
Global Village brought together cultures from around the world in one place. Each pavilion represents a different country, offering local food, shopping, performances, and unique products.
It was one of the most colourful and lively places I visited.

7. Desert Safari
The desert safari was one of the highlights of my trip. From dune bashing and camel rides to traditional entertainment and a delicious dinner, it was an unforgettable adventure.
Watching the sunset over the golden sand dunes was truly special.

8. JBR Beach
If you’re looking for a relaxing day, JBR Beach is a perfect choice. The clean beach, walking paths, cafés, and sea views create a refreshing atmosphere.
It is also a great place for photography.

Final Thoughts
Every attraction I visited offered a different experience, making my Dubai trip both exciting and memorable. From the incredible height of Burj Khalifa to the peaceful evenings at Dubai Marina and the adventure of the desert safari, every place added something special to my journey.
If you’re planning a trip to Dubai, I highly recommend including these attractions in your itinerary. They showcase the city’s perfect blend of modern innovation, culture, and unforgettable experiences.
